AFP London & Region Chapter Live Webinar: The Art of Proposal Writing, with Gary Gladstone
Grant writing is one way to help build revenue streams for nonprofits. Learn how to identify funders that are right for you and ensure that your proposals get noticed.

Speaker Bio:

Gary Gladstone is an accomplished non-profit executive and results-oriented leader with over 30 years of non-profit, corporate, government and volunteer experience. A strategic thinker and team builder with a proven track record of helping organizations achieve or exceed their revenue goals through major gift fundraising, grant writing, government relations, media relations, event planning, volunteer recruitment and leadership development.

He served as a member and chair of the York Simcoe Grant Review Team of the Ontario Trillium Foundation. He is engaged in municipal, provincial, and federal politics, both as a fundraising professional and as an active volunteer. Gary is currently Senior Development Officer for Kenora Chiefs Advisory, serving 9 First Nations Communities in Grand Council Treaty 3. Combined with the new Foundation that he started, he has raised over $1 Million this year for KCA.

For the past four years, Gary has also led the Stakeholder Relations team at Reena, and has been the driving force behind the Intentional Community Consortium (representing 16 agencies across Ontario and Quebec), advocating for housing and supports for those with developmental disabilities. Working closely with CMHC and all levels of government across Canada, he was successful in ensuring that those with a developmental disability got special recognition in the recently released National Housing and Dementia Strategies.

Gary is principal of Gladstone Consulting - A one-stop consultancy for charities and non-profits to raise their profile, increase their friends and donors, improve government relations, and raise the funds needed to fulfill their missions. He and his team have raised over $17 Million in grants for worthy charities and non-profits from all levels of Government.
