AFP-NJ Chapter: Engaging Donors of Color
America’s communities of color are growing in political, financial, and cultural size and power. Yet, few advisors have the confidence, competence, or cultural knowledge to engage with donors of color. We invite you to participate in an interactive session to broaden your definition of giving and reflect on how you can expand your work with donors of color. We dive into the recent research on high net worth donors of color, and explore their unique journeys, the issues they support, and the roles advisors and fundraisers play.
This is an interactive session and attendees will be asked to complete the 6Ts of Giving exercise in advance of the session for discussion in small group break-outs.
