Join Korn Ferry coaches Joshua Daniel & David Meintrup, and AFP Board Member and Chair of the Emerging Leader Task Force, Adrienne Taylor, CFRE, for our first emerging leader affinity group zoom meeting In this session we’ll talk about positioning yourself for new roles in the fundraising profession and talk about personal branding, job readiness and job advancement. The session will be a professionally facilitated and guided group discussion with time for smaller group breakout discussions.

Presenters

JoshJosh Daniel has a professional background including experience in training and development, professional coaching, and career advising services. He specializes in working with men and women navigating times of transition and relies on principles of strategic inquiry, positive psychology, and direct accountability.

Josh started his career in the US Army where he gained the opportunity to design and implement international training initiatives and has since worked in non-profit organizations, small businesses, and corporate environments. Most recently, he has held a position as a Training Program Manager within a non-profit technology startup. Josh also holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from UT Dallas and have been awarded a 'Professional Certified Coach' (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF).

 

DavidDavid Meintrup’s passion is coaching professionals to be best in class job seekers.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2019, David has had over 15 years of career coaching experience in top outplacement firms as well as coaching MBAs across four business schools.  He has extensive experience working with global job seekers, as well as middle managers and executives working through difficult transitions due to layoffs and relocations.  

David has a Bachelor degree in Media Communications. After receiving his Masters in Counseling, he discovered career coaching and it has been his passion ever since.  He is a Certified Career Coach with the Career Coach Institute.

 

AdrienneAdrienne McDade Taylor, CFRE, is the Sr. Development Officer for the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation.  She is responsible for elevating the organization fundraising processes and sharing its impact.  She joined the Women’s Fund after spending 5 years with the University of Cincinnati Foundation.

Adrienne is a 2013 graduate from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music’s Arts Administration Graduate Program along with receiving her MBA from the Lindner College of Business.

Prior to entering the field of fundraising, Adrienne spent 3.5 years as a full-time registered stock broker and part-time dance teacher.  Adrienne also received her bachelor’s degree in Finance with a Dance minor from Millikin University.

Adrienne started her career path in fundraising through the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Greater Cincinnati Chapter’s diversity program, New Faces of Fundraising, which she is now serving as the program’s co-chair and involved in the national expansion of this program.  Her commitment to Diversity & Inclusion efforts extends beyond her role within AFP and in to her current role at the Women’s Fund.  Adrienne believes in the efforts towards evolving inclusive philanthropy and is excited about being a part of the movement! 

Adrienne has served in numerous roles with AFP Global including, co-chairing the New Faces of Fundraising program, is a Collegiate Chapter Advisor with the University of Cincinnati, serves on the Membership Services Committee, the WII Taskforce, the Committee on Directorship and Leadership Academy Committee.
