National Philanthropy Day Spotlight: Dianna Lawson
Throughout the month of November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals will be highlighting honorees from National Philanthropy Day chapter events around the world, showcasing outstanding donors, volunteers, corporations, foundations and others who are being recognized for their commitment to change and philanthropy.
Today we’re showcasing Dianna Lawson, Community Champion of the Year Award winner, honored by the AFP Inland Empire Chapter.
Dianna Lawson, executive director of Mansion Memories in Redlands, California, is being honored for her commitment to children and families in the community. Dianna previously served as a program coordinator for the Micah House after-school program in Redlands, then moved on to start her own nonprofit, Mansion Memories.
Mansion Memories works to serve children in crisis and their families by providing Magical Day events at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands. These events, free to children and their families who are working through illness, loss or hardship, provide engaging, happy memories.
