Eligible for 1 CFRE Education Point

Cases for support are critically important to nonprofit fundraising, and every organization – no matter the size -- should have one. No longer tied only to capital campaigns, a strong case will pull your stakeholders together, touch people’s hearts, and elevate philanthropy.

And what's the most important element of an exceptionally effective case? The story that you weave into it. Stories are uniquely yours. They uniquely illustrate the problem and the solution. They are at the heart of everything you do.

In this session, Leah will share the most important components of a case for support, her step-by-step process for writing one, and will use a case for support that she’s developed for a recent client as a real-life example of these concepts in action.

Interwoven throughout the discussion will be the science of why donors make the giving decisions they do, and how you can use that science to enhance your case (and your fundraising in general).
