Despite donor counts falling in five out of the last six quarters, giving dollars had stubbornly hung on to marginal growth in Q2 and Q3 2022, largely driven by large donors. However, according to FEP’s latest quarterly data, the continuing decrease in donors of all types in Q4 was accompanied by a notable weakness in total dollars, suggesting the possibility of continued challenges in 2023.

You or your chapter may nominate any qualified candidate to serve on the board for a seat as an officer, vice chair or an at-large director. Remember, you may self-nominate, nominate a colleague, or invite your chapter to nominate you or a colleague. Prior to making any nominations, please carefully review the criteria for service. The deadline for submission of completed nominations is June 12, 2023.

AFP is pleased to publish its 2022 AFP Compensation and Benefits Study, highlighting the compensation and benefits trends among fundraisers in the United States and Canada who participated. Of note, fundraising salaries grew slightly in 2021, and 75% of fundraisers anticipate remaining in their current jobs for 2022.
