AFP AZ, Southern Arizona Chapter
History: The Southern Arizona Chapter was founded in 1984. The chapter serves over 120 members and 200 plus nonmembers. The chapter hosts a variety of educational opportunities for development professionals including monthly meetings and a grassroots workshop held annually. In addition, members facilitate community awareness regarding philanthropy through the "Youth in Philanthropy" course, which is offered at a local school and National Philanthropy Day, which recognizes outstanding contributions by community members.
