AFP CA, Greater Los Angeles Chapter Event: Leading a Multi-Generational Team

August 23, 2023 | 11:20 am - 1:00 pm
Pending 1.5 CEs from CFRE

This session provides a thoughtful approach to the “new” workplace environment coming out of the pandemic and how we move forward. More generations than ever are working together in the same workspace, and how do we allow each to thrive and be successful while bringing them out of their comfort zone and generational work ethics. Providing a framework that allows employees a “safe workplace” for now and beyond.

The conversations with our panelist will discuss how we bridge the gap and bring people together for the good of the cause. All while be inclusive of everyone’s self-care needs. Allowing space where employees can understand and adapt to their colleagues’ work ethic and values.

Participants will learn practices they can implement at their organizations that lead to organizational success. Understand protocols and provide education to apply such policies. Each panelist will share their organization’s stories and practices that have led to staff satisfaction. The participants are welcome to adopt any of these best practices and adapt them to their organizations.

Panelists:

  • Charlene Dimas-Peinado, President & CEO, Wellnest
  • Richard Newcomb, VP of Philanthropy & Social Enterprise, Union Rescue Mission
  • Jonathan Schreter, Executive Vice President, Bolton & Board Chair, Inner City Arts
