AFP Long Island: Meet the Funders

Meet the Funders is a chance for fundraisers to find out directly from the funding sources what they are looking for, how your grant request can catch their eye and how to improve fundraising efforts to get the results they want. Three prominent funders will explore how they make decisions on which grants to fund, which to turn down. Representatives from Canon - Chris Sedlacek, Bethpage Federal Credit Union - Nanette Gerson and Jovia Federal Credit Union - Ray Schwetz - will allow attendees to hear first hand how they make strategic funding decisions and how fundraisers can more successfully position their organization for funding.
