AFP NC Triangle Chapter: Fundraising for Transformation and Collective Liberation

Stewardship & Marketing: Donor Relations/Stewardship
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Access (IDEA): Diversity and Inclusion (IDEA)

Reflecting on fundraising and the ways that race and class intersect, participants in this session will share their own experiences confronting race and class dynamics at work. This session will zoom in on values-based fundraising, assumptions about donors, and 3 strategies to help shift our fundraising plans from transactional gift charts to transformational community building.

The session will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern.

AFP NC Triangle Chapter is pleased to partner with Beyond Conflict to deliver racial equity training for fundraisers, nonprofit staff, and anyone interested in learning more about race equity in philanthropy.

Because this work is fundamental in creating an antiracist learning community and well-resourced nonprofit environment, AFP Triangle is committed to offering this training through a Pay What You Can model, while simultaneously compensating our trainers at Beyond Conflict fairly for their work.

Each session is offered at a suggested price of $38 per session. Paying the suggested price of $38 per session covers your attendance. Anything more than the suggested fee helps to cover the cost for another attendee who may not have access to the same resources that you or your organization may have access to.

Even if you are unable to pay the suggested fee, you are very much welcome to participate in and join this training.
