AFP Northeast Ohio: Engaging Next Gen Donors
There will be a $68 trillion transfer of wealth from baby boomers to their children over the next two decades. According to Bloomberg Wealth, “despite the pandemic-induced recession of 2020, America’s young adults doubled their assets over the past four years, …This marks the first time the assets for so-called millennials have exceeded $10 trillion.” The Center for Family Philanthropy at the Akron Community Foundation was developed to help families with that wealth transfer and to educate emerging philanthropists as they come into their own. This presentation will reveal the research and partnerships used to develop the evidence-based practices of the Center and how you can use this knowledge to engage Next Gen donors to your non-profit.
