Luis Francisco Pacheco Cámara is an accomplished educational consultant and third-sector leader with more than 25 years of experience strengthening nonprofit organizations, community-based programs, and intercultural educational initiatives across Latin America. His work integrates strategic fundraising, institutional development, and human-centered program design to build sustainable, high-impact organizations.

Luis has led successful fundraising efforts for foundations, universities, and civil society organizations, including the design of institutional strategies, donor stewardship systems, grant proposals, major-gift cultivation, and cross-border philanthropic partnerships. At Fundación Careyes, he expanded the organization’s alliances with universities, social programs, and cultural institutions. His experience also includes directing development efforts at The Lake Chapala Society A.C. and the Intercultural Ayuuk Institute, where he strengthened donor networks, increased membership engagement, and advanced long-term financial sustainability.

With a strong background in ethics, philosophy, and social innovation, Luis brings a humanistic and community-oriented approach to nonprofit leadership. As a trusted advisor to nonprofit boards and executive teams, Luis leads high-level strategic planning, organizational redesign, and impact evaluation. He brings deep expertise in multicultural team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and community-based program development. His work with Thunderbird/Arizona State University and regional entrepreneurship initiatives demonstrates his ability to lead complex, multinational ecosystems and drive measurable results.

Recognized for his ability to translate mission into strategy, Luis develops initiatives that align institutional goals with community needs, building durable alliances and expanding organizational impact. His work is grounded in ethical leadership, intercultural dialogue, and a commitment to meaningful, sustainable social transformation.

He serves on the AFP Mexico Foundation board; Chapter founder and Past President of the Occidente-Pacifico chapter. Currently servs as the IDEA Chair at his chapter.
