After leading a nonprofit for 16 years, Sondra moved onto consulting, learning from donors, raising millions of dollars, and building capacity for organizations across the United States. Her skills were sharpened in strategy, innovation, growth, and asset-based fundraising. Next up was leading an environmental organization on their first comprehensive campaign – raising over $55 million in three years. In 2013, Sondra went back to her professional roots joining Boys & Girls Clubs of America and partnering with hundreds of Boys & Girls Clubs to further their missions and fundraising. Sondra joined Jeff Habib in launching Madison Habib Impact Philanthropy in early 2021. She is also a provider and Authorized Partner of Wiley’s Five Behaviors and Everything DiSC. In addition, she is a certified trainer for Board Source.

Jeff Habib, Madison Habib Impact Philanthropy, Principal
Jeff is first and foremost a social entrepreneur. Naturally curious and resilient, he is known as a change agent for effectively assessing market dynamics, technological and channel shifts, capitalizing on opportunities and delivering ROI. He has vast experience in dealing with Board Members, CEO’s, Family Offices, Foundations, and wealthy benefactors on numerous initiatives. Additionally, Jeff has guided the growth of many clients over the past 25+ years through his strategic vision and ability to implement and guide complex, integrated fundraising and marketing programs for national and international nonprofits of all sizes. He is a Founding Partner of Thompson Habib Denison, one of the largest fundraising agencies in the nation, generating over $500 Million annually for the agency’s clients.

Dave Martin, Vice President of Marketing, CharityEngine
Dave is a digital marketing expert with a unique combination of nonprofit and for-profit experience. He combines that with a track record of delivering real results. Dave is a metrics-driven, content-centric, scrum-loving, conversion rate-obsessed marketer.

Dave loves leading teams and inspiring people. He is an innovator and thought leader and lives by the mantra “always be learning.”

Before joining CharityEngine, Dave was the CMO at Blue Cypress, where he helped purpose-driven leaders unlock growth. He was also the Director of Marketing at the American College of Radiology, the Chief Marketing Officer for Aptify (an Association Management Software company), and the Vice President of Marketing & Content for the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA).

Earlier in his career, Dave worked in global telecommunications marketing, product management, and product development in the United States and Europe. He spent two years in Sweden, one year in Belgium, and three years in Spain. Dave has a BA from the University at Buffalo, an MIA from Columbia University, and an MA from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Leuven, Belgium.

Dave is fluent in Spanish and enjoys photography, Red Sox baseball, Buffalo Bills football, and drinking local DC beers in his spare time.
