If 2023 was the year of AI curiosity, 2024 is the year of AI intentionality. Foundations and nonprofits are making it a priority to fold AI into their work. As part of that effort, leaders and practitioners across philanthropy are stepping up to advocate for what they need to see for AI in social impact. Join Craig Parker, Global SaaS Partnerships Lead at Microsoft Tech for Social Impact, and Makeda Adisu, User Experience Researcher at Submittable, to explore some recent research that dives into how grantmakers and their recipients are looking to AI to reduce mundane tasks, enhance team capacity, and foster equitable grantmaking. Learn about the balance between human agency and AI assistance, and the importance of transparency in AI use for social impact.
