Princeton Carter’s Journey from Teen Changemaker to Assistant District Attorney
In 2014, AFP honored Princeton Carter, JD, MBA, MPAP, with the William R. Simms Award for Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy for his nonprofit, My Brother’s Keeper, an organization that was dedicated to helping veterans, as well as other vulnerable members of his New Orleans community.
Now, over a decade later, Princeton has gone on to do some amazing work. After earning his law degree and a masters of public affairs and politics from Rutgers, as well as an MBA from American University, he is now currently serving as the assistant district attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.
We asked him to join us today to share more about this incredible career, and how his experience in philanthropy has shaped this journey.
