Kate Hughes joined The Angeletti Group in 2012 and has grown to become a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team, operating in a dual role that seamlessly balances internal operational responsibilities with client-facing endeavors. Responsible for TAG’s daily operations, Kate leads a dynamic team of nonprofit professionals. She also plays a key role in charting the course for the firm’s strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
Kate leads TAG’s Executive Search Division and has a great interest in connecting dedicated professionals with opportunities that ignite their passion. Certified by the American Staffing Association as a Professional Recruiter, Kate is dedicated to innovative approaches that align the right individuals with the right roles at precisely the right time.
With over a decade of fundraising experience, Kate also serves as a project manager to guide clients through planning and feasibility studies, development assessments, and impactful capital campaigns. An active volunteer and community leader, Kate is the Secretary of the Board of Trustees for the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation in Flemington, NJ. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals New Jersey Chapter (AFP-NJ) and currently serves as President-Elect, set to assume the role of President in 2026. She is also President of a local women’s group in Hunterdon County and a past Steering Committee Member for the Conference for Women in Philanthropy, hosted by the FDU Center for Excellence: Leadership, Governance and Philanthropy.
Kate received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University with a dual-concentration in Journalism and Human Resources/Labor Relations and her master’s degree from Seton Hall University. Kate and her husband live in Hunterdon County, NJ, with their three beloved dachshunds.
