- Funders Concerned About AIDS: FCAA offers an advocacy network to regularly convene funders and stakeholders to keep a pulse on the political landscape surrounding HIV-related philanthropy work. They also support the Southern HIV Impact Fund, which seeks to coordinate a philanthropic response and mobilize attention and resources to address HIV in the southern U.S.
- Horizons Foundation: Offers resources and research on LGBTQIA+ fundraising, including a toolkit that addresses how LGBTQ organizations can take advantage of this climate to maximize fundraising and convert those efforts into long-term relationships that sustain your work.
LGBTQIA+ Fundraising in an Anti-DEI Climate
🏳️🌈 Leading Funders Continuing Their Commitment to Supporting LGBTQIA+ Causes
Funders for LGBTQ Issues
This network remains a cornerstone in LGBTQ philanthropy. Their 2025 Funding Forward conference in Houston emphasized intersectional funding strategies and celebrated a decade of the "Out in the South" initiative, focusing on Southern LGBTQ communities.
Stonewall Community Foundation
Stonewall has adopted Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF), prioritizing unrestricted, multi-year grants, especially for BIPOC- and trans-led organizations. This approach aims to dismantle traditional power dynamics in philanthropy.
Global Philanthropy Project (GPP)
Anticipating federal aid cuts, GPP launched the "Fund Our Futures" campaign, raising over $100 million to support global LGBTQ+ organizations. The initiative underscores proactive philanthropy in safeguarding human rights amid political shifts.
LGBTQIA+ Foundations/Funders:
Organizations dedicating resources in response to current anti-DEI policies:
Pride Foundation: Their Fortitude Fund is a new initiative designed to provide timely, flexible resources to LGBTQ+ organizations confronting the escalating challenges of the current climate. The goal of this fund is to meet the most urgent and exacerbated needs, supporting organizations whose work and communities they serve are most intimately impacted by the current socio-political environment being spurred by the current presidential administration, state-level legislative activities, and the broader cultural realities these factors are creating. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Social Justice Fund Northwest: Provides essential resources to organizations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming to strengthen grassroots efforts in the broad-based movement for progressive, systemic social change. The Emerging Justice Fund will move unrestricted funds to resource grassroots organizing for communities that have been and continue to be targeted by Federal, State and Local policies.

- Arcus Foundation: Currently, Arcus’ Social Justice Program primarily makes grants through an invitation-only application process.
